Ridiculousness Abounds
Daily cares and worries are usually out of my mind when I hang out with friends. But that’s what friends are for right? I’m always thankful for that, especially after a grueling week at work (or several for that matter). Also wine. I’m very thankful for wine.
On Saturday a couple of us headed out to a Beer, Bourbon and BBQ festival, even if the weather looked somewhat ominous and threatened to pour rain down on us (which it did). We sampled beer, filled our bellies with food and managed to somehow stay dry. I even took my Canon AE-1 with me to take some film pictures (waiting patiently to see how those turned out – hopefully not crappy).
I’m looking forward to our next outdoor drinking festival in October. With costumes. More on that next month.
Oh and uh, we’re slightly incapable of taking “normal” pictures most of the time.

I still can’t get over the boyfriend photobomb picture – continues to make me laugh. Over the summer, Sweets and I went to an event where they had about 100 microbrews to taste. As part of the entry fee, we got a tasting glass (similar to the ones you have pictured, only I suspect ours were smaller) to use throughout the night. Ever since that night, Gavin insists on drinking his “milk in a beer glass” and “water in a beer glass” … we often find he’s double fisting during our dinner meals. =)
