The seasons come and go every year. Depending on where you live, they may change drastically – in a very beautiful way. Take part of the US Eastern Coast – we get spring, summer, fall, and winter every year.

Yet somehow they are not always exactly the same. Sometimes it’s hotter, sometimes colder, maybe milder, or a tad bit harsh.

The one thing some of us have come to terms with and understand quite well, however, is that climate change has impacted the seasons and weather. It’s heartbreaking in a way because future generations may not see what we see today and will be dealing with damaging results of what past and current generations and governments have done. And are still doing.

So of course it will make 100% sense when Oklahoma Sen. Inhofe – a climate change denier who has compared the EPA to the Gestapo – takes over as head of the Environment and Public Works Committee come January when the GOP takes over the Senate.

I’ll let you mull over that.

  1. I heard that. I wanted to cry. Then I wanted to look up insurance to protect my home when fracking leads to quakes everywhere. Even where there are no faultines.

Oh god. I really hope fracking DOES NOT happen anywhere near you. I wanted to cry and scream and then bang my head on my keyboard. Insanity.
