The Last Winter Wonderland

The east coast had an unexpected spring snow storm last week on Thursday (which you may have already known from my many photos on Instagram or you live around these parts). It’s not uncommon to see some snow during the beginning of March, but at this point, we are all quite winter weary and want warmer weather coupled with spring flowers.

Since both Matt and I ended up having a snow day (the federal government and schools all closed), we figured we would venture outside and have a look at how much snow piled up around us. Of course I took some photos.

Thankfully the snow has already started to melt and it’s getting slightly warmer. Plus the birds are chirping, incessantly. I think spring is on the way!

Ha! Yeah, he’s such a crazy rebel that one. (Especially when I tell him to crouch down next to the KEEP OFF sign just so I can take a picture.) 😀

  2. You two are so cute! And, now that it’s 50+ degrees here, I don’t mind looking at your snow photos. I was commenting that I think North Carolina got more cumulative snow than Chicago did this year. What a weird winter!
