Cafe Crushes

yellow, green, and white summer florals

I’ve recently been trying to cut down on high, chemical-filled house cleaners because I just can’t take the smell of them anymore. Plus they are pretty bad to begin with. When San wrote about ePantry on her website a couple of months ago, I decided to give it a try and order as many “green” products from there as I could. I’m not under any illusion that these products don’t have chemicals in them that are bad for us, but they are quite less in comparison.

So far I have really liked the products they sell (at a slightly lower price than supermarkets), and I’ve been able to find what I need from them. A lot of times I’ve gone to the grocery store to buy bath tub cleaner and I’m unable to find the one I want. But ePantry will have it. Bonus: they ship on time and you don’t have to wait long for your order, which comes straight to your door.

Busy life, means less time I need to spend at the supermarket picking up these items (which I don’t do anymore). Plus they always write “thank you!” on my shipment receipt, and I’m a sucker for someone saying “thank you” to me for using their services.

I do highly recommend them, and as you’ll notice that yes, there is an affiliated link in which I do get some dollar credit in my account (as you would too if you sign up with them). But that’s honestly not why I’m telling you about  them. It’s because I really do like them. If you do give them a try, let me know what you think.

It’s funny how our tastes change in food the older we get. While gum isn’t really food per say, my taste in it has changed over the years. I don’t really like the ones that can be found in any supermarket, pharmacy, or 7-11 anymore. This past weekend I picked up a pack of Simply Gum from Whole Foods in the coffee flavor (I FOUND COFFEE FLAVORED GUM), and holy heck I love it. It doesn’t have that super sugary, strong, sweet taste in it and for me it’s easy to keep chewing. They apparently make it using only six ingredients, but, eh, who really knows right?

Right now though, I love it, and will be ordering more of it online. Did I mention it comes in a coffee flavor? Because it comes in a coffee flavor!

Speaking of coffee, my favorite is still Stumptown Coffee Roasters. If you’re wondering what to get me for Christmas or my birthday or really any time of the year because you just simply adore me (what? I’m adorable!), then please get me a bag of Hair Bender or Holler Mountain whole beans. DELICIOUS. I can’t get enough.

Has anyone else heard of Janelle Monae? I absolutely love her and her music and her voice (for quite some time now). She’s all around fantastic. She actually had a live show in DC not too long ago, but as per the usual, i found out about it way too late. *womp womp*

And now back to your regularly scheduled programming (i.e., work).

The post does contain affiliate links. If you decide to join ePantry through this post, you will receive a $10 credit towards your first order, and I will receive a $10 credit on my ePantry account.

  3. Coffee gum? I dunno. Sounds iffy.

LOVED Janelle Monae’s first couple albums but wasn’t as keen about her album last year. Did very little for me. Shame because I was really looking forward to it.
