What’s it all for?

Do you ever walk around with the perception or feeling that you are observing everyone and everything around you from the outside? That somehow you are invisible and no one is really paying attention, but you are?

And so you wonder what it’s all about, getting up each day Monday through Friday, doing your routine like the numb robot you are. Or the one you’ve trained yourself to be. Because that’s what you have to do to survive in today’s world and society.

Then you think, is this my mid-life crisis? When does that even start? 30s, 40s, 50s? What is a mid-life crisis anyways? Something else humans made up.

Because if you really think about it, I mean really think about it, what’s the point of it all? Everything we do every day what’s the point?

Money? Power? Get that new position at work? Procreate? Live for the weekends?

What’s it all for?

I ❤ you. I am not the only one asking myself those questions sometimes…. and then I try to focus on the things that are worthwhile… friendships, good conversations, food, coffee. 🙂

That’s pretty much what I do too. It gets me through the day!

  2. If it’s a midlife crisis, it has yet to end for me.

I’m beginning to think it’s just how life is. We’re all grown up and see things a little clearer now.

  3. Comforting to know that you’re not the only person in the world with the exact same questions and thoughts.

My guess is there’s a lot of us out there thinking the same thing. We just don’t really know it.
