Snow something or other

I take it at this point you have likely heard that the US east coast (mainly Northern Virginia to New York City) was walloped by an insane blizzard (otherwise known as Jonas because we name winter storms now), which dumped well over two to three feet of snow in many areas, and shut down airports, public transportation, and train stations.

It’s been eventful out there. The sun popped out yesterday and today saying HELLO WORLD! It was a beautiful sight.

The insane amount of snow, however, is overwhelming, mainly because you know you have to shovel out of it, and hell if that isn’t a slow, brutal workout.

We won’t be going anywhere for a few days (I think). But you don’t want to hear me drone on so here are some photos for your viewing pleasure that I took with my iPhone during the storm and the day after.

I am sorry. I know it’s a hassle, but I am so insanely jealous.

Thank you!! It actually wasn’t too bad walking in it, especially when the wind hit our backs (snow smacking in our face was highly annoying).

I missed it before it arrived too! Except this was a *tiny* bit of overkill. 😉

  4. There’s no photos like snow photos. You made the most out of the environment – the photos are stunning.
